Residential Manager

LOCATION:              Initial Assignment, To Be Determined 

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT:    Permanent, Full Time, Exempt 

POSITION CONCEPT:    The Residential Manager reports to the Division Director of Residential Services or Program Coordinator Designee, Vice President/COO & President/CEO.   The position concept dictates that the Residential Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations of one or more Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) including ensuring consumers receive quality care via the planning and delivery of individual services. A Residential Manager will have primary responsibility for at least one IRA, including Habilitation Plan development/ implementation and associated progress documentation, and additional support responsibilities to the residential division as a whole.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  A Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field or RN, and two years experience working with the developmentally disabled population, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. Must be capable of handling all position responsibilities outlined in the job description, including leadership role, scheduling, problem solving, direct care, and accountability for quality service provisions.  Must also have acceptable driving record.

Physical Therapy Assistant 

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Part time, 30 hrs/wk  

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, TBD, Flexible  

LOCATION: Multiple Sites, Travel Required                                                          SALARY:      $15.27                                    

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Program and New York State Licensure. Experience in working with disabled population. Must have acceptable driving record as well as demonstrated competency in First Aid/CPR.

Saturday Club Recreation Leader

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT:  Regular, Part Time 

SCHEDULE:        Two Saturdays Per Month,     Typically 10am to 4 pm. Additional coordinating hours as necessary. 

LOCATION:       TBD SALARY:           $15.23/hr            

POSITION CONCEPT:  Design and implement social/recreational activities for the Saturday Club, including day/evening trips, in-house projects and recreational events.                

MINIMUM  QUALIFICATIONS:  B.A./B.S. degree in Human Services or related field with experience working with persons with disabilities. One year of experience working in the field required. Experience developing and implementing social/recreational activities highly desired.  Must have an acceptable driving record.

Overnight Associate Residential Manager 

POSITION:                             Regular, Part Time - 21 -35 hrs/week,Benefitted, Exempt

POSITION CONCEPT:         The Associate Residential Manager will have oversight responsibilities, on a variable schedule, for IRAs with awake overnight staff; will serve as a Residential Manager On-Call during scheduled overnight hours; will be responsible for overnight operations of multiple IRA including ensuring consumers receive quality care via the planning, and delivery of individual services. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred is a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service or related field/and two years of experience working with the developmentally disabled population, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.  Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or LPN degree and four years of working with the developmentally disabled population, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity, or currently acting in the equivalent capacity of an Associate Residential Manager..  Must be capable of handling all position responsibilities outlined in the job description, including leadership role, scheduling, problem solving, direct care, and accountability for quality service provisions.  Must also have acceptable driving record.

 

DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Successful candidates will bring specific knowledge of employee relations, labor management practices, and current HR law and possess strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Must also be a proven leader with strong management and supervisory experience. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field. Master's Degree preferred. Eight or more years of progressively responsible Human Resources leadership experience required; experience in union environment and PHR Certification preferred. Bus Mechanic 

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT:  Part Time, Regular, Permanent 

LOCATION:             Transit Connection, Dix Ave 

SCHEDULE:                28hrs/wk, potential to work up to 32 hrs/wk                         Monday through Friday; TBD 

SALARY:                    $ 17.28/hr 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Four (4) years experience with buses or heavy trucks, both gas and diesel, preferred and must be acquainted with NYS DOT Laws and Regulations. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  Must have valid drivers license, with acceptable driving record. 

Licensed Practical Nurse 

Part Time, 27.5 hr/wk, Includes Full Benefits Package 

LOCATION:   Granville @ Eastpointe Day Hab 

SCHEDULE:   Monday – Friday; scheduled within 7:30A – 3:30P 

SALARY:         $15.27 

POSITION CONCEPT:  The LPN will assist the Day Services Manager in the  programming of the participants in the Day Hab. 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:  LPN's must be Licensed by the State of New York as an LPN.  Must have good character and background and an acceptable driving record. Must have an affinity for working with the developmentally disabled.   Demonstrated competency in First Aid/CPR safety procedures, Medication Administration, and 19A/CDL certification considered a plus.


Consumer Assistant

Part Time, 35 hrs/wk, Queensbury - Expressions

SALARY:                    $13.30/hour

POSITION CONCEPT:   The Consumer Assistant will assist the Consumer Facilitator and the Director in the programming and supervision of the program participants. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:       Consumer Assistant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, good character and background, and a valid drivers license.  Must have an affinity for working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and be capable of handling all position responsibilities as outlined.  Demonstrated competency in First Aid, CPR, medication administration, and safety procedures considered a plus.

The position of Residential Assistant requires HS Diploma,GED or Valid CNA and NYS drivers license acceptable to Agency insurance standards. Must be of good character and background, and display an affinity for working with people with disabilities. Base Salary $13.36/hr, 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift Differentials applied or $10.45/hr (Per Diem Residential Relief Assistant)
